Ministerial quote
Children’s Minister Tim Loughton said:
“Child Safety Week gives us all an opportunity to think twice about making sure children are safe from unintentional injury and harm - at home, and in the wider world - so they can enjoy play and lead active healthy lives. We are grateful to the Child Accident Prevention Trust for highlighting the issue of accident prevention so widely to parents, children and the general public. The DfE is funding them to provide advice to all voluntary organisations across the country and ensure that local authorities take the issue seriously.”
